An Arrow of Hope: From Division to Belonging

  • For centuries, humanity has wrestled with division: between nations, neighbours, and even within ourselves. We long for peace, but too often the solutions we try from the outside cannot reach the root of our brokenness.

  • Christ, the incarnate Word of God, offers a deeper way. He is the Second Adam who heals what was fractured: uniting us with God, reconciling us with one another, and gathering our hearts, minds, and souls into wholeness in Him.

  • Scripture calls Him our anchor beyond the veil: “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus” (Hebrews 6:19–20).

  • On the Cross, Christ became the new centre of gravity: “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself” (John 12:32). He does not pull us downward into despair, but upward into the Father’s embrace.

Four religious icons with words and descriptions: a cross with a vine representing 'Abide in Christ'; an open book with a tree representing 'Rooted in the Word'; a chalice with a cross representing 'One Body'; and an open door with rays representing 'Welcome All'.

This is the journey of the AROW:

  • To Abide is to draw life from Him (John 15:4).

  • To be Rooted is to stand firm in faith and His word (Colossians 2:7).

  • To become One is to rediscover unity beyond division (John 17:21).

  • To be Welcomed is to walk through the open door He sets before us (Revelation 3:8).

In Christ, the arrow points forward, beyond the veil, into light, peace, and healing. This hope is not only for the faithful, but for all who long for renewal. Here, every person is seen, respected, heard, and loved.
